Yes you can.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Currently no, he might be able to do with the Google home device cuz I know there are smart washer and dryers but I don't see any where Amazon called skills stilts out for any washer or dryer brand the only things I see are the ability to schedule appointments at laundromats and dry cleaners
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I highly doubt it. this plug is 110 and most dryers are 220. Even if the dryer was 110 I think it would pull more amps than the plug could handle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your dryer is 120 volts and your internet works in basement
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most dryers require you to physically turn it on. So no, i don't think so.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure of the voltage, but it would only turn the power source on, not the device itself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would think not. First, the power requirements are different if electric. If gas, and I’m ignorant to those, my assumption is that you can’t turn your dryer on, unplug it, plug back in and have it start right back up upon plugging in. Any appliance you connect to these plugs that you want to turn on must be able to turn on by simply connecting to power. Otherwise the only automation you’ll get is turning off by interrupting the power through the plug.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, if your WiFi connection is decent in your basement. As long as you have a Bluetooth or a WiFi network that can reach the plug in the basement, you should be able to operate it remotely. However if your dryer requires you to manually push the start button on its panel, you will not be able to start the drying process remotely
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That would not be advisable. Clothes dryers are usually 220 and this plug is 110. Even if it were compatible, I would fear it as a fire hazard.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I doubt it. Dryers require a high electrical draw - I would be surprised if it can be a long term solution.
