Does it tell you how long does the AC runs at a time? null

No, this thermostat does not have the reporting capabilities of a Eccobee. It will allow you to set on and off times, and will automatically adjust heat or cold when it detects you have left the house, or at night when you go to bed. It works well with Alexa. It is also a lot less cost than any other thermostat I know of.

Hi Joe, The Thermostat can be used this way by linking it to an Alexa-enabled device at home, and you can control your HVAC system with your voice. When you are not at home you can use the Alexa app to manually adjust the temperature or set a schedule, even on the go. Alexa hunches are also available via the Alexa app to determine what is happening in your home when you're away. If you would like to do this, your AC unit being smart and compatible with Alexa would be most optimal. If not, the temperature reading from the thermostat would give you a time frame to gauge.
