• Nope. I have the same motherboard and it worked out of the box. Most if not all the X570 motherboards support 3rd Gen Ryzen. (This cannot be said for B450) Feel free to update using the includes utilities after you put it together and install an OS. It will boot fine. Don't forget to load the XMP profile on your memory in the BIOS to get the highest infinity fabric clock from your Ryzen processor. Good luck.
