If you’re gaming/streaming/watching/listening to music all at the same time I would choose the ryzen 9. The ryzen 7 is great for gaming and streaming from the same device but the more tasks you throw at a system the more cpu cores and ram you need. Just make sure you have a cooling system and a beefy power supply
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.5800x is more for you. 5900 would be overkill. 5900x is more for other programs such as adobe premier etc. I run a 5800x with a 3070ti game daily and can stream play everything with ease.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.5900x is overkill imho. Current chipsets and AMD technology do such a good job of balancing loads across available assets. I just replaced a 3900X with a 5800X. I never really stretched the legs on the 3900X. But your mileage may vary. Add up all things that you could possibly be doing at once...does it equal or exceed 24, or is it closer to 16? (Keep in mind, open tabs in browsers typically require very minimal resources unless your actively inputting/manipulating/attending to).
