A:AnswerIn general they are all fairly even. The 5800X is slightly faster than the 9900k and about even with the 10900k in gaming. The 10900k has a slight lead in productivity due to the extra 2c/4t. The biggest benefits to the 5800X over the i9s right now are 1. Power consumption (by like 100W compared to the 10th gen) and 2. Smart Access Memory when paired with an AMD graphics card. Basically what I'm saying is in your scenario you'd probably have next to 0 performance uplift, but you would reduce power draw if that matters to you.
