Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, don't go putting aside nor throwing-away any functional product, especially if it already runs well as expected. One of my builds, features a Ryzen 5 5600 processor, which also came with a CPU fan (AMD Wraith) that barely cooled adequately for a resource demanding task. So I opted for an AIO water cooler instead (a Kracken 240, or another very popular and widely successful product Best Buy also sells) Then, firmly mounted the stock CPU cooler as a case fan, using zip-ties and/or mechanics wire, and wired it to any available fan header on the motherboard. Also, If the CPU fan has a tendency to run all out at max most of the time, or if the consistent high coil whine from the fan noise becomes too annoying. There's also section in most system BIOSes to adjust whatever fan speeds needed. Hope this may help anyone building and managing one's PC.
