QuestionDoes this device come with a magnetic holder? Is it waterproof?

- Answer The scope of delivery includes 2 magnets. The other side of each magnet comes with a 3M adhesive tape. the 3M adhesive tape is used to stick one magnet to the device and the other on the surface inside your car/truck/RV, etc to hold the long-term tracker in place. The product meets IP 53 The IP Code (or International Protection Rating, sometimes also interpreted as Ingress Protection Rating*) consists of the letters IP followed by two digits and an optional letter. As defined in international standard IEC 60529, it classifies the degrees of protection provided against the intrusion of solid objects (including body parts like hands and fingers), dust, accidental contact, and water in electrical enclosures. The standard aims to provide users more detailed information than vague marketing terms such as waterproof. The 5 stands for Dust Protected Ingress of dust is not entirely prevented, but it must not enter in sufficient quantity to interfere with the satisfactory operation of the equipment; complete protection against contact. The 3 stands for Spraying water Water falling as a spray at any angle up to 60° from the vertical shall have no harmful effect. QuestionCan the location be seen in real-time by an app on your phone ? And does the app have a log of locations you can look back on ?

- Answer The tracker is set to send a signal every 3 minutes. With this preset we achieve the maximum battery life of up to 6 months and free data usage of up to 9 years. In the settings, the position can be changed from 3 minutes to 1 minute. However, this means that the batteries are used more and therefore have to be recharged after approx. 2 to 3 months. QuestionWould this be a good tracker for a atv?

- Answer Hi Ejone97 do you have a compartment where you can place the tracker inside? If yes, you definitely can use the tracker for an atv. For example, we have a customer who installed our tracker inside their welding machines, so what i want to say is that as long as you have a secure place for the tracker you can place in, the tracker can be used. - Answer Hi Chuck, the tracker is active during you use your vehicle, when you dont use the vehicle, the tracker notice this and goes in deep sleep mode. It wake up automatically when you enter your car. This technology offer a battery worktime up to 6 months, before you need to charge it.
