“Can the AMPLIFI MeshPoint HD Satellite be used as an extender for the AmpliFi Alien WiFi 6 Mesh Router?”

• Until recently the answer was no but since Amplifi released the 4.0.0 firmware for both the HD and Alien routers, you can mix them in mesh networks now. Both the HD and the Alien must be updated to at least the 4.0.0 firmware version to use this new feature.

• I genuinely doubt it, because why would anyone want to, might just as well stick with your older AmpliFi HD Router, since neither it nor it's mesh points support the additional features found in the Alien Products.
