Anything can be used as a WAP if youre desperate enough, my friend… As we all know, CardiB be parading around with the W-est of the AP and everyone seems to be about it, but what’s our alternative? Some dude/?. Ya no?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It actually has an article in the manual on doing just that. I don't use the AT&T wifi because it's not behind my firewall. I use 2 of these and it is great
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can use this to provide wireless networking. You cannot use this as a range extender for the AT&T wifi, however. You would use the Alien to provide wireless instead of the AT&T wifi. The wifi on the AT&T gateway should be turned off and then the Alien placed into bridged mode. Once you have the Alien configured to provide your wireless networking, you can also add one or more additional Alien routers as mesh points around your location to expand the range of the wifi signal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don’t waste the technology by bridging with att router. Ditch the att router and step up to higher quality.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is only designed as a mesh point for other Alien routers.
