No, the AmpliFi Alien is strictly a very good Wi-Fi router, It does not have a Docsis 3.1 modem built in.

I think Docsis3.1 spec is something about modem. AMPLIFI Alien is only a router, so for the best result for this router, i suggest to get a docsis3.1 modem (e.g. Netgear Nighthawk CM1100) with this router.

Insofar as it will work with a DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem, it is. But routers aren't labeled in this way (as that's a cable standard), so it's not something to worry about.

This is not a combo device. It’s a router only. Try Arris or Netgear for a combo device.
