“If you lose the small type c magnetic tip, can i buy a generic one online to replace or do i have to have the one that comes with this product? i bought mine about a year ago but i lost the magnetic type c charge tip that goes in the headset when charging”

Negative on trying to purchase a generic one. Your best bet is to try and contact Anker support and hope they can offer you a replacement tip. Spent many hours researching for myself to find out there's nothing that's compatible with this charging dock.
