- Answer Negative on trying to purchase a generic one. Your best bet is to try and contact Anker support and hope they can offer you a replacement tip. Spent many hours researching for myself to find out there's nothing that's compatible with this charging dock.

QuestionCan I still charge even with controller grip? Or would I have to remove the grip all the time?

- Answer I doubt it. Two problems: 1. The grip would have to be super thin since the controller charger slot is an exact fit to the controller shape. 2: You replace the original battery cover with one with charging contacts. You would likely need to make a cutout in the grip. The thickness of the grip might prevent making electrical contact. Hope this helps.

Anker guarantees that the battery can maintain a peak capacity of more than 85% after 500 cycles of charging and discharging; it can still be used after 500 cycles of charging and discharging, but the use time is reduced. QuestionWhy is my left controller getting HOT instead of charging??? And I mean hot enough it left a mark on my hand when I took it out and the smell of burnt plastic is what made me look at it. Other 2 ports work fine.
