“Hi, what material is the stand made out of ? Is there any metal in the stand? This could have a 3rd use in your car as a magnetic dash mount if you secured a magnet to your dash and placed the stand on it.”

• Tried that. No metal in the stand. Phone is too heavy for stand to handle dash mounting

• The material is PU leather. There is no metal in the stand.
