Yes, absolutely. After MUCH research, I recently purchased this model (A1272H11) specifically for my Note 8. Using the proper high speed charging cable (the one that came with the smartphone), I tried both USB ports. The QC 3.0 port charges the phone quite a bit faster than the IQ port. It also makes that lovely "Fast Charging" notification appear. However, the IQ port was still reasonably fast. The 75% (3rd) LED light is out on this one, so I'm taking it back to exchange for the exact same model.
