• Yes. Samsung branded charger is rated at 2amps output. This one is rated from 2-3 amps. This is what it can put out. Electronic devices usually will not overcharge when it is full to prevent ruining the battery. It will draw as much electricity as it needs to charge. The wattage output is more than capable of charging your watch but not powerful enough to charge something bigger (ie laptop).
