“Does the individual who registered the device have to be in the car each and every time it is turned on and off for it to work as far as the GPS tracking on the app is concerned? Can a parent use for a teen, or for an aging loved one for safety?”

• This is just a charger - it doesn't have any GPS features, However it could be used to keep a GPS or smartphone charged with out over charging it.

• Not a GPS device so only the paired Bluetooth phone will have the location saved on that phone. If the car is moved and that phone isn't there, you can't track the car to the new location. It's really to be used for one person. Great if you use a rental or any car you drive to remember where you parked.
