I'm unsure through the usb. Seems the USB is strictly for charging while you stream your music. Again, unsure if through an ipod you will be able to stream your music? However, it works great. Depending on how much driving your doing across town. Or if your going on long distant, or rural areas. It will tend to static abit. Sometimes more than you'd like it to. For the most part, it plays fine. I'm happy with it.
