“So I've had my anker Bluetooth transmitter for quite some time. Some reason it refuses to play any music. but there will be no sound coming out of My car. I know my radio doesnt play any am or FM stations. Is that why I'm not able to listen to music?”

Yes, the transmitter needs to get signal from am or fm frequency in order to Bluetooth from phone through speaker. If there’s an app to download to your phone do so and follow instructions to sync phone to transmission.
