• Both. The 522 comes with an AC power adapter you can use to recharge it. It can also be charged from either of the USB-C ports. You would need to purchase a solar panel if you want to charge the 522 that way.

• You have a few options for charging it. 1) regular 120V wall outlet, 2) car adapter, 3) solar charging (solar charger sold separately).
