I cut the cord on cable TV and this antenna gets all major local channels plus more. I get 41 channels. I use my antenna indoors and have it on top of a tall book case with good reception.

I had a very pleasant experience with the switch to over-the-air antenna after close to 2 years(that includes laziness and day to day busy-ness) of researching and confirming all the information I got. when you finally decide to buy an antenna, check the return policy of the store. Got mine from best buy, 14 days no questions asked return policy, glad i did not need to return.
