Not likely. Metal tends to block RF. You would need to position it near a vent facing the towers at a minimum It comes with a decent bracket to mount outside.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My guess is no. I am using mine in a metal building. I tested it on a long cable. Outside, I could get stations 50 miles away. Indoors I could do just as well be placing the antenna near a window facing the stations, but if I got away from the window I lost all but the closest stations.
