Would this work in a metal camper? null

I have it mounted on a metal roof and it works fine.

The Clearstream 4 Max works best when it has as clear a view to the towers as possible, and the metal of the camper is likely to interfere with the reception. The solution is to put the antenna outdoors where the metal of the camper will not interfere.
