It is unlikely that you would receive signals in any building that has both metal walls and a metal roof. That would create what is called a Faraday cage, which is a structure used to eliminate RF signals from entering or exiting an area. The Clearstream 4 Max may be able to receive signals if mounted outside the building, depending on where the building is relative to the towers. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Hildego: Depending on how close you are to the sending tower, you may be fine. However the metal building will limit your reception quite a bit. It will cause the signal to bounce and scramble. Suggest trying it if you are close to tower, within 15-20 miles you should be fine, any farther and I suggest you mount it on a pole at least 50-100 feet from pole barn for better reception.

Plus you move it around turn it upside down or what ever to get the best reception, remember go slow because it’s digital and takes a min to come in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Truthfully I'm not sure but I'd give it a try it's a good antenna and if it doesn't pick up many signals probably because of the steel I'd mount it outside. Keep in mind you can always take it back with your receipt.
