“I watch a lot of nascar sports and discovery channels are these something I'll loose if I choose this option for my tv. I've got cable now and am looking at going in this direction if it works. Can any one tell me please.”

This antenna does a good job of bringing in local channels from within a 59 mile range depending on the topography of your area. I live in St Augustine and receive 28 channels, mainly from Jacksonville, including PBS.
