“I see these listed in distance i.e. 30 miles, 60+ miles, etc. Do they also work well if some station towers are closer than the specified distance or do the towers need to be that far away to get the reception?”

Hi Robbie, the towers need to be "within" the distance listed to receive TV signals. For the ClearStream 4MAX, it can receive TV signals from a tower a mile away or from a tower as far as 70 miles away. I hope this helps!
