QuestionI live in an area where it is difficult to get in abc, a low vhf channel. The 4max gets it in pretty consistently but when mounting it I found that if I was touching one of the dipoles the picture was perfect but when I let go I lost some signal. Ideas?

- Answer If you can, raise the antenna. Height and orientation of the antenna impacts overall picture quality and availability.

- Answer I would think so if the poll is sturdy I’m sure you can we have ours in the house and we get 60 channels it a great antenna you might even get more channels being up high and it gives you a great picture HD

- Answer I get 43 channels total including all local network for my area. You can go to Antennas Direct website to look up all available stations for your area. And yes, this antenna works much better than the cheap one I was using. All stations now come in very good and I'm running 3 rooms with no picture signal problems.

QuestionCan elements be aimed in two different directions? Towers are roughly 95 degrees apart. In the past I had to try to aim halfway between the two with non optimal results. Otherwise is there a better solution for aiming at two different towers?

QuestionCan I disable the VHF element and use a separate VHF antenna? I'm thinking of using the Channel Master Amplify+ that I can attach a separate VHF antenna to the amplifier. I am currently getting the High VHF channels with my old school antenna in my attic.

- Answer A proper setup will allow you to use two different antennas but you will need other components. See internet or youtube for devices required for this kind of setup
