I did a lot of research on this before I bought a pre-amp. I ordered the Antennas direct "juice" pre-amp and couldn't be happier. I found it at wally world online since Best Buy doesn't carry it. Check youtube and you'll find some guys who've tried others before the juice and they all like it better.

If you are in a weaker area it's possible to need two amps, a pre-amp and a distribution amp.
