Yes it does. It is directionally sensitive so you need to point right at the TV towers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will pick up those that are available. It will also pick up additional channels that the local stations may provide. I went from getting just two PBS stations to four, my local CBS affiliate is now providing two channels instead of one, ABC went from one channel to six channels, NBC now has five or six channels, and there are other channels not affiliated with the networks. When I upgraded my antenna, I went from fourteen channels to over fifty. Lots more of nothing to watch! ;-)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 4V picks up VHF channels. The ClearStream 4 does not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Clearstream 4V has a VHF element so it will pick up VHF channels (2 thru 13). It may also be tuned more for high VHF (7-13) but I'm not certain on that. In the photo it's the long black rod across the top part of the antenna. It's only one element so I'm not sure the range will be all that far but it will depend on how high the antenna is mounted and your line of sight and distance from the towers among other factors. I haven't used the Clearstream 4V but I have installed several of the Clearstream 2V antennas (same design but only one bay instead of two) and have had good reception with them, however they were all in our local market which doesn't include any VHF stations. Also keep in mind that even though you may be trying to get a station that lists itself as channel 2 thru 13, check antennaweb.org to see if they actually broadcast on a VHF channel. Our previous VHF stations now all broadcast on UHF frequencies.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.3-13 were analog designations. Digital designated channels are 3.1,3.2 ect... Go to FCC website for more info. Or go to Best Buy store for explanations. Your questions are not unimportant to either of them. That said, it would take paragraphs to explain here. If I were your mentor I would say : Good Question!! Seriously!
