I was able to install this antenna onto my existing DTV roof mount and use the existing cable with no issues. One item on my DTV mount, I did have to cut the bracket down a little to fit onto the post. The bracket that comes with the antenna was 1/8 too small to fit over the pull, 15 minutes with a dremmel and was able to mount the antenna. Sending the signal to 3 TV's with the us of a hd 4 way splitter and all TV's look good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I wired directly into the line used by Dish, however, you may have to remove any hardware they have installed between the line at the dish, and the line at your tv (installing barrel connectors to connect the split lines). You do not need a converter.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We used our direct tv wire. I disconnected the wire from the direct tv antenna on my roof, added a male adapter, then ran the wire from my new antenna and connected it to the male adapter on our direct tv wire. Also I looked in our basement and removed a direct tv amplifier that they it in. I added another male adapter where the amp was and joined the wire together. Everything works fine. I had read that some people had to remove their direct tv splitter and replace it with one from Walmart. I did not have to do that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depending on your TV you may need a converter. If you go to this website you can determine if you need a converter or not. http://antennatv.tv/free/
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope. It is actually easy if you have service before and you can run it to all your TV channels.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes , use a splitter.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can wire into DirectTV and no you do not need a converter.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you should be able to use existing cable but you cannot use the same cable to feed both the directtv and antenna signals to your tv sets
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you cannot unless you are a electronics guru to separate the signals and filter/separate the higher voltage from them. I am sure they make a high priced convertor signal separator but even I would not want to do this.
