Range the 4v will pick up stations farther away from you

I believe this model cal pick up channels from a greater distance.

The 4v model is red at 70 miles and I believe the 2v is rated at 50 miles.

Distance. 2V only covers 40 miles, 4v covers 70. We are 50-55 miles from towers, works great.

The 4v is more powerful, has a higher gain and thus further distance. The higher the gain, the stronger and clearer the signal is. If the distance you need to reach is barely within the 2v range, the 4v should bring in the signal more strongly than the 2v.
