Q: QuestionHow much weight can this hold? When properly mounted to structure what is the weight limit that it can support? with included hardware? looking to add hardware on this mount and would like to know its design parameters.

• A:Answer Hello from Antennas Direct! Your question is more complicated than just the weight, it’s the surface area of what you are mounting the mast to as well. The STM1000 mount is designed to safely secure any of our antenna models as well as an amplifier. • A:Answer The inside diameter of the STM1000 j mount is 1 3/8". It is important to know that we do not recommended extending the J mount as the mount base is not designed to take the extra weight. If extended, damage can be done to the mounting surface.
