Yes, the batteries will remain charged. How long you can run you computer depends on the size of the UPS and power demand of the PC. You should try it from a cold start to see how long your PC will run after it starts up. If you need internet access, that's another load you need to consider as you need to keep any modems and routers running as well. I use an APC NS-1500M2 backup on my PC and internet equipment. It will run for about 80 minutes drawing 72 watts.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is better to keep it plugged in as it is a surge protector with a battery backup. Plug in your TV or other devices to protect them all the time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. just note all batteries discharge slowly over time. Also keeping a battery supply fully charged without use may degrade the battery slightly sooner. While plugged into the wall the software built in protects the battery. You can also turn off the alarm so if you unplug you don’t have to hear that annoying alarm.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Lead acid batteries can store charge , same as car batteries. It won't be for ever and if not fully charged will drop faster as the process to turn DC to 120v ac will eat the watt time . I would leave it plugged in to charge as much as it can and unplug any devices from it until you need it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your inquiry. Yes you can turn it off to save the battery from depleting. Just note if left off for too long then it will slow deplete the battery. However this will take a few weeks for it to start to deplete.
