I purchased this UPS for that very reason for my wife and it has been working perfectly for over a month. A Huge piece of mind in case the power goes out in the middle of the night.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your interest in our products. The UPS BN450MNW has maximum suggested sustained load of 255 watts and 450 VA reactive power. Theoretically it will work but it will depend on what type of motor or power supply your CPAP machine is using. We do not recommend us of non Pure Sine wave input for AC motors. If your CPAP machine uses a AC to DC adapter it it would work. CPAP machines normally consumes around 30-90 watts. Assuming that you have a 90 watt machine it can only run machine for roughly 17 minutes. Also if for running non Linear load (inductive load)we recommend that you allow for inrush current and do not max out UPS load capacity. We still do not recommend use of this type of UPS for any life support device as it is not rated for it see our APC by Schneider Electric Single Phase and Three Phase Products Life Support Policy (https://www.se.com/us/en/faqs/FAQ000270822/) If you have other questions We offer email and chat services through our support site.
