• Yes, there is an alarm that will sound when you get to a low battery situation. When on battery power, the power button will flash green. When the battery is low, it will also beep twice every 30 seconds (default.) You can change the mode so the light and/or audible alarm signals change (e.g., flashing red, no audible alarm; flashing amber with 4 beeps every 30 seconds until low battery notification then beeps every half second.)
