• No more than a regular lightening arrestor. Lightening is not always a controllable act of nature. But, you stand a better chance of any electronic gear than a simple surge arrestor.

• Consult an electrical professional if you want to protect your home & equipment. A strike on a tree may not matter. A strike on rooftop electrical could do more than this could provide. This unit could protect against spikes on the power line.
