I am over 65 and have never owned an Apple product. Got the Ipad Wi-Fi only to use for Facetiming. Turned on the Ipad and answered the questions as they came up. I said NO to most of their security suggestions. I set up an Apple ID so I could use the Facetime feature. After setup, I called one of my sons, told him the Apple ID and had him Facetime me. It worked perfectly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need nothing, just turn it on, go to your settings, go to the WiFi link, sign in to you network or router. If it’s secured, put in the security code then look up in the right corner of your iPad and look for the rainbow looking signal at the top. This indicates you are connected. Then open your browser and start surfing the internet.
