Any wifi that’s available will work. The carrier connection is for data use. You can purchase one with data options based on your carrier, but then you have to pay a monthly data fee. The wifi only version is less expensive and there is no monthly fee.

If you purchase the WiFi version it will work only with WiFi. If you purchase one with a cellular data plan you can use the data plan or use Wi-Fi when available. Hope this helps

Yes it should work with wifi, there is a version that you can get that uses providers but that is optional.
