You have to wipe it (which requires either a PC with iTunes or a Mac). (You can restore from backup after that if you backed it up.) Apple's instructions for that are here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211078 If you enabled "Find My" on it, then the above will only work if you know the password for the Apple ID used on the iPad.
