- Answer iPad 9th Generation is 10.2 inch screen size. So if you’re talking Tempered Glass? 10.2inches. I have the OtterBox Defender pro case, and for now I’m not using tempered glass, but if you get an older version of the OtterBox case or find a different case, it may have a plastic cover built into the case, so you don’t need Tempered glass.
