Is this ipad compatible with airpods pro2?? null

I can’t get mine to pair with my iPad very upsetting specially for an expensive set of AirPods Pro two love them on my iPhone 15. Don’t understand why I can’t pair them with my ninth generation. iPad takes me through the whole process, but won’t finish pairing.
