That’s up to you. I’ve never used a cellular tablet because I just don’t need that; I have a cell phone. My smart watch doesn’t have cellular either, because I have a cell phone.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have unlimited data so I use my phone to make a hotspot and connect the ipad to it. It is really up to you and depends on how mobile you are.. I don’t like connecting to public WiFi for security and speed so wireless is useful.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In my opinion it’s not worth purchasing an iPad with cellular service, especially if you have hotspot capability with your compatible phone. If you truly need network access, simply turn on your hotspot and your good to go. I have yet to need it but I’ve only owned my device for a few weeks. Hope this helps.
