Absolutely! It’s unlocked so you don’t need to make a commitment to a service provider. When you’re ready, you can just add the SIM card and in the meantime you can use just the Wi-Fi. I would recommend looking up USMobile as a service provider; I save a TON of money using it on my iPad and iPhone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It worked fine with my home Wi-Fi until I brought it to Verizon to add the SIM card. I can't imagine that you can't add the SIM card later if you choose and simply use the Wi-Fi without the cellular connection. However, it is considerably more expensive to have the cellular capability, so why not use it?
