- Answer Yes, you will need a special adapter (USB-C to HDMI) for it to act like a 2nd monitor and I think there’s an app that will act like an extra tv, but I’m not sure what’s the name is

- Answer Yeah, you will have to buy an adapter to be compatible with the IPad. I would recommend the USB-C to Headphones and Charger jack on Amazon and it works great
