- Answer No, the memory AND storage are not upgradeable. You need to buy the iPad with more Storage. Memory and Storage are different. 64gb is the storage and the memory is 4gb of ram. Think of storage is how many photos you can take, and memory as how many chrome tabs you can open.

- Answer It would be very hard to see. The glare on the glass almost prevent you from being able to read unless you are shaded by an umbrella. A Kindle paper would be better for the beach.
