I own a desktop, apple laptop and iPhone. I have begun traveling overseas and looking for an iPad that can work with basic traveling, checking emails and responding to them since I run a business too. Like to read and play simple games. Any suggestions null

Any iPad that has ever been made can do all of those things, that's what iPads are. This model has as very fast processor, it's probably way more than you need. Consider getting a regular iPad (not the Air), or a discounted iPad Air 4.0 to save some money.

The iPad is a great product. You can also purchase a Bluetooth mouse, keyboard, or attachable keyboard which then turns the iPad into a computer.
