Firstly, the Ipad Air is much more powerful than the new Ipad, It had double the amount of memory and is powered by the M1 chip while the Ipad 10th gen is powered by the A14 Bionic chip. The Ipad air also supports more accessories like the 2nd gen apple pencil and the magic keyboard.

The iPad Air 10th gen is fine if you don’t care about using the newest 2nd gen Apple Pencil. The screen is different material because of this too. The picture quality is similar with the iPad Air being a bit brighter. For only 200$ more or so, I’d buy the air. I bought this when it was on sale during a Best Buy apple sales event.

The iPad 10th gen has 6 cpu cores while the iPad Air 5th has 8 cores. So the performance is better.
