What does unlocked mean? null

For cell service, unlock means it works with any carrier instead of only working on Verizon or only T-Mobile.

I have the unlocked version of the air 5 2022 .basically you can go to your phone carrier and get a chip so you can have internet where ever you go . If you have a locked device it will be wifi only usable.

It means it can be used for any cellular company for example if you get unlocked you can use it for AT&T or Verizon or sprint….. so on, it’s not limited to one carrier

To me whoever has this ipad it was either found or stolen or purchased and the previous owner didn’t have it blacklisted
