Can I use Mobil hotspot from my phone on this device null

Yes this is what I use instead of paying the $50 monthly to have cellular I just use hotspot and it connects all my contacts and messages it’s like having a big phone lol I can even have my cellphone upstairs and will be chilling in our basement and messages and phone call still go through

I use the mobile hotspot from my iPhone 11 with my iPad Air 2.
