• The best way to check any Apple product is to simply put in the model number into Google and it will give you all of the information regarding the specs you’re looking for.

• The first two generations look essentially the same as each other, with large upper and lower bezels, and the devices are physically larger, even though all three generations have 12.9” screens. The newest or third generation is the only one with the thinner bezels on all four sides.

• The only way to really tell most of the time is to look in the description and copy the model number and do search.
