• Apple has free different programs like excel, word etc, very useful. So you don’t have to be worried about it.

• Apple has similar apps that ship pre-installed on the iPad (or can be purchased for free on the App Store if you bought a new device). The app correspondence is like: Page -> MS Word Numbers -> MS Excel Keynote -> MS Powerpoint They are not drop in replacement and have very different UIs and will take some getting used to. But for basic functionality they are pretty good.

• You can purchase Microsoft’s Office for the iPad Pro. No problem at all. I’ve used Word and Excel on the new unit and they both work very well.
